We are excited at the prospect of serving God from Pearl Haven Christian Center this year 2008. It is a year of New Beginnings which shall see a rallying of efforts to accomplish what was began and launching of the things that have been dormant.
Over 15years ago while in England, God said to me, Go and build me Pearl Haven in Mbale. I Obeyed and left the church I worked in then. My wife Sarah and I came to Mbale in Eastern Uganda and started a small congregation that has grown to the present day Pearl Haven Church. We established Living Water ministries Uganda as the registered organization to run this work.
We were also given the mandated to take the gospel to the people along River Nile that cuts through Uganda, Sudan and Egypt with Pearl Haven as the base.
We invite you to come into covenant partnership with us to do this work believing it is of God.
As in bible days when people covenanted themselves to fulfill God’s purposes, we need Christians to join hands with us in a commitment to help accomplish the tasks ahead of us this year.
The project to  to include a 2000+ seat sanctuary on two levels, LWM(U) offices, cafeteria and a Christian library was launched in 2003.
In 2007, by the grace of God and help of friends, we completed the ground slab of the building at a cost of over UGX. 55,000,0000/= (USD. 33,000); we upgraded our indoor PA system at UGX 4,500,000/= (USD. 2650).
In 2008, we target to raise the columns and cast the top floor including the balconies of the PHCC building to cost about UGX 65,000,000/= (USD.38,500). We intend to launch our out reach ministry with mass evangelism and need equipment worth UGX 15,000,000/= (USD. 9000). The total requirement is UGX80,000,000/= (USD.47,500).
We need 80 covenant partners committed to raising at least one million shilling this year or a few more paying less and others paying more according to their abilities and leading. We have opened an account with Barclays bank specifically for this purpose. The account details can be availed on request for transfer. This shall be a collection account and our Board shall
meet regularly to determine what has come and make decisions on the designated expenditure.
We shall keep all our covenant partners updated every month.
