The children’s ministry at Pearl Haven Christian Center, designed for kids aged 3 to 15, started in 1993 under Living Water Ministries Uganda. It began humbly on the Pastor’s verandah with volunteer teachers leading activities on rhymes, simple Bible stories, and songs. The venues changed due to challenges in rent payments and the itinerant nature of the church fellowship.
Despite the shifting venues, the number of children attending kept increasing, leading to moves from the Pastor’s verandah to Namatala primary school, and later to Erisa primary school, which was safer and closer to the main church. We are grateful to both schools for their support during this time.
Our aim is to impart the gospel to your children by offering biblical teaching, instruction, and activities that cultivate and exemplify Christ-like character. We earnestly hope that their time with us will draw them closer to Jesus and equip them for service guided by godly principles.

We do have capable teachers who do a very good job by taking care of these little ones. We do encourage parents to always visit the children's church in order to keep up with the activities their children are involved in.

As a church, we do encourage children to give towards the work of God. During our major fundraisers, kids participate in activities to raise money for specific causes or projects, such as construction, Gospel missions, purchase or church equipment among other things. Parents are encouraged to buy piggy banks for their children so that they can save their money over a period of time. This is then broken and the total amount of money is declared on the general church fundraising day or Thanks giving service.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a short summer program at churches where children learn about the Bible through activities, games, crafts, and lessons in a fun environment.
