Wilberforce and Sarah Okumu helm Global Outreach, with Wilberforce holding the roles of founder and president at Living Water Ministries Uganda (LWMU). As the Senior Pastor at Pearl Haven Christian Center in Mbale, the central hub for LWMU, he plays a pivotal role in its operations. Additionally, Wilberforce serves as the chairperson of the Ugandan board for Calvary Ministries, CAPRO, a cross-cultural missionary organization active in 43 countries with a global missionary force exceeding 800 individuals. His outreach efforts span Uganda and extend to nations such as South Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, the USA, and the UK.
Conversely, Sarah's professional journey includes tutoring at Kamuli Primary Teachers College, teaching at Mbale High School, and serving as the deputy headteacher at Bugokho Secondary School. She later returned to Mbale High School in the capacity of deputy headteacher. In 2016, Sarah assumed the role of headteacher at Bukedi College Kachonga.
Together, Wilberforce and Sarah jointly lead this ministry and are not only parents to three biological children but also nurturers to a community of spiritual children.
