Woman of Virtue' is the term used for the women's ministry at Pearl Haven Christian Center, which began 14 years ago. Initially, we were young girls attending church, but under the guidance of Pastors Sarah and Eunice, who led the ministry at the time, we became actively involved.
Our ministry finds its roots in Proverbs 31:10-31, drawing inspiration from the Virtuous Woman narrative, which led to the naming of our ministry. Particularly, we find inspiration in verses 30 and 31: "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates." (NKJV)
Our primary focus is on nurturing the development of women within and outside the church through consistent fellowship and comprehensive training across various life aspects that affect women and families. As a result, our aim is to build a community of women characterized by regal and virtuous qualities, fully capable of positively influencing their environment through meaningful engagement. Ultimately, our goal is to facilitate both physical and spiritual transformation within their communities for the glory of God."

Our women's ministry hosts Faith Clinics as part of our periodic outreach activities, catering to single, married, widowed, and elderly women, teenage girls, and single mothers within selected communities and churches. These clinics span a full day and involve one-on-one discussions, counseling, prayers for various needs, and communal fellowship.
Our primary goal during these activities is to guide and direct these diverse groups of women and girls towards God as their ultimate source. We emphasize that through faith, we access all that God, through His divine power, has granted us for life and godliness, such as healing, provision, deliverance, restoration, and salvation. Alongside these spiritual aspects, we also provide gifts including food, clothing, and shoes during these clinics.
To date, we have conducted over 10 impactful Faith Clinics in various districts such as Sironko, Butaleja, Balumbuli, Kapchorwa, Manafwa, Pallisa, Mbale, Kaliro, Dokolo, and Lira in Uganda. Additionally, we've organized similar clinics in Busia and Kitale Districts in the Republic of Kenya.
The Women's Conference, a recurring event taking place in October, unites women from the areas where we conduct our faith clinics as well as those from nearby communities and churches. This gathering has been instrumental in transforming lives, restoring marriages, facilitating deliverance, and leading many to embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Follow-ups play a significant role within our ministry. Follow-ups play a significant role within our ministry. If a woman who used to be a regular church attendee becomes less frequent, we deliberately reach out to her, aiming to visit and understand if there's any way we can provide meaningful assistance or simply spend time in fellowship with her. Additionally, we extend visits to women who are unwell, whether at home or hospitalized, and those who have recently given birth.
These follow-ups have emerged as a pivotal aspect of our ministry. They not only strengthen the bonds of friendship but also cultivate a sense of community and sisterhood among the women at Pearl Haven Christian Center.
In these fellowships, women unite in prayer, worship, and praising God. Additionally, we engage in candid yet intimate discussions. Over the years, this environment has proven to be a source of knowledge, offering guidance, and mentoring in various aspects of women's lives.
Numerous women have attested that these fellowships have been instrumental in fostering a deeper, more personal connection with God. Notably, we've witnessed the emergence of women who are now confident in teaching the Word of God, both within our community and when we extend our reach to other churches and fellowships.
Our monthly meetings are carefully organized by the women's leadership team, featuring a range of activities and sessions to engage and empower our members. And we meet on every last Sunday of the Month from 4pm at Pearl Haven Christian Center.
